Background

I am an engineering leader who spends my time thinking about technology, people, and process. I spent the first half of my career developing software tools and systems, along with the processes to run and grow them in the environmental sector. I have since been focused on leading teams through scale and growth development and mentoring teams to work effectively and openly together for larger and small consumer brands alike.

 

I managed platform teams through rapid growth and architectural transition at Pandora, front-end and design teams at the start-up Ticketfly, and large vertical consumer organization in Google Search. I was responsible for product, business development, and the engineering organization as I rapidly grew an in-house product at Arcadis. I have upsized and downsized, built processes and completely refactored them, led and followed product, and have built highly performing and highly satisfied teams throughout.

My favorite food to cook at home is Puttanesca, can’t not order Chilaquiles, and will travel distances for a good curry. I collect vinyl in off hours and then promptly catalog my record collection for fun. I am a hobbyist athlete and musician, enjoying the practice as much as the rewarding food and drink following. I have been writing software since begging my parents for a computer in 8th grade and still love a reason to put a spreadsheet together.
